So here's the car we need to get around the good places in! Daddy's never owned a car before, so I hope he enjoys it as much as I do riding around in the back . . . Mum and Dad laugh when I swear at other drivers or tell Dad the light is green now . . . but why?

and I had a really safe bed that even I couldn't fall out of . . .

. . and Al cooked up a storm . . .

. . .and where we all had lots of fun . . .

. . .with their chooks . . .

Like Coorparoo, where uncle Jeb and aunty Allison live . .

Of course there are more neat places in Brisbane than just Indro, like our favourite cafe in Toowong, where they do great seats . . .

until we ended up with something a bit like this in sitting room one . . .

while Bella did her bit too . . .

and Ian moved things around and around and around and . . .

and elvettes - mostly Aunties Helen and Allison who got the kitchen into a liveable state on Saturday in one big blitz!

. . . we spent most of last week pulling furniture and 20 years of Ian's life in London out of cartons last weekend - all with the help of some splendid elves . . .

. . . unlike the rest of the place which has been slowly emerging from under a pile of 214 of these jobbies for the last week . . .

although you could say the small terrace is looking fairly sorted too . . .

and here's the view of the park from the kitchen, which is definitely the most organised room so far . .

here's baby Bella, her aunty Helen and uncles Mark and Jeb taking in some more park pleasures . . .

including our local park - which is just out the back gate. Here you can see assorted family admiring the view, which also takes in the indooroopilly glof course . . .

and there are lots of them all over town . . .

Bougainvilleas look a lot like this . . .

. . . about here . . .

this is Brisbane from the air. Indooroopilly is about 9.30 on the left, another couple of klicks and two bends in the river away . . .
